Music Ministry
The Music Ministry at Fairhope UMC strives to bring a variety of music and opportunities to those who actively participate in these areas as well as those who appreciate and enjoy the many gifts and talents that the volunteers offer each week. Music lifts my spirit and seems to always comfort me in times of joy and sorrow. The hymns we sing on Sunday morning are as much a part of my life as the scriptures we read each day. Music is a universal language that can reach people even who don’t speak the same language. You will find music ministries for all age groups here at FUMC. Music Ministry is not just about performing on Sunday mornings. It’s about giving your best to God on whatever level that may be, about connecting with God spiritually through music, fellowship, teaching and enhancing worship each week. Even if you are not musical you can still be a part of the Music Ministry by taking roll for children’s choir, helping with youth choir preparations, being an adult body in a choir rehearsal for children or youth, refiling music in the music library...there are many other non-musical tasks that can be done. There really is a place for everyone in the Music Ministry!
Blessings to you all,

O Come, let us sing unto the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise
to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before his presence
with thanksgiving,
and make a joyful noise
unto him with psalms.
Psalm 95:1-2
