Holy Land Pilgrimage 2011

Join Rev. Mike McKnight and Rev. Joe Bullington for a Pilgrimage into the Land and Life of Jesus

A trip to the Holy Land is life-changing.  You’ll never read the Bible in the same way again.  Its scenes will come alive after you have bowed at the manger in Bethlehem, worshipped on the Sea of Galilee, followed the Palm Sunday crowd down the Mount of Olives, knelt in the Garden of Gethsemane, walked the Via Dolorosa, wept at Golgotha, and sung at the empty tomb.

Departing from Pensacola on February 20, 2011, our group will fly to Tel Aviv. We’ll spend half our time in the Galilee, the locale of most of Jesus’ ministry.  Then, with the lovely and comfortable Olive Tree Hotel in Jerusalem as our home base, we will visit those spiritually stirring sites mentioned above.  After our 10-day basic tour, remain for an extended stay in Jerusalem, visit the Wonders of Egypt and Luxor, take a cruise on the Nile, or experience the fascinating rock city of Petra in Jordan on one of the optional extensions.

If you have gone on one of our church’s Holy Land Pilgrimages before, the itinerary of this trip will take you places you’ve not seen before as well as
re-visiting many of the wonderful sites of our previous trip.
If you’ve never been to the Holy Land, it’s spiritual feast for every Christian

Brochures and additional information are available in the church office or here.  Feel free to contact Rev. McKnight or Rev. Bullington if you have questions or would like to discuss the details of the tour.

This trip will be not only a travel experience, but also a spiritual pilgrimage to walk in our Lord’s footsteps.  Your understanding of the Bible and your commitment to follow Jesus will be challenged, inspired, and strengthened.  Treat yourself and your loved ones to this pilgrimage of the spirit in 2011.
