Disciple Bible Studies:

Program activities include daily reading and study and weekly small group meetings led by a trained facilitator featuring an informational video presentation. Cost of materials for each class is $35.


DISCIPLE IBecoming Disciples Through Bible Study. Original Version, 34 weeks; an in depth survey of the Old & New Testaments.  Facilitated by Ben McNeill.
Sundays, 4:00-6:30 pm.  Orientation August 26th, first class September 9th.

Disciple 1 is a prerequisite for all other Disciple studies.  Subsequent Disciple studies may be taken in any order.


Disciple IIOut of the Word, Into the World: Genesis / Exodus and Luke / Acts. 

  • Original Version, 32 weeks. Facilitated by Nan Denson. 
    Thursdays 9:00-11:30 am. Orientation and first class is September 6th.

  • Fast Track, 24 weeks. Facilitated by Laura Parker.
    Wednesdays, 6:00-7:15 pm. Orientation September 5th @ 6:30 pm.
    Class begins September 12th.


Disciple IV—32 weeks; Under the Tree of Life: Old Testament books of Ruth, 1 & 2 Chronicles,
Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, Lamentations,
and Daniel and in the New Testament the Gospel of John, the epistles of John, James, Jude,
and The Revelation.
  Facilitated by Barbara Stewart.
Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30 pm. Orientation: August 29th, 6 pm. Class begins September 12th.

Experiencing God
Many people who have taken this study have found it to be life changing!  This 13-week study by Henry Blackaby takes participants through 5 days of reading and study each week with a video and discussion during class. Facilitated by Tony Caminiti. 
Tuesdays, 6:00-7:15 pm.Class begins August 21st

Women of the Bible
This year’s study will begin with Esther and will feature many fascinating and lively stories of MOSTLY godly biblical women (some not so much) who were all influenced by God’s great love. 
This is a year-long study continuing from last year with breaks for holidays and summer.
New participants and those who wish to continue from last year are welcome. You will find open hearts and the power of friendship and love among these special women! Begins September 11th
Facilitated by Martha Barricklow. 

Tuesdays, 10:00-11:00 am, with option to go to lunch together after. Class size will be limited. 


Drop-in Discussion Group
Dr. Ann Pearson facilitates this ongoing drop-in discussion group. The fall study will be Choose Joy, by Kay Warren. Ever wonder why some people seem to experience joy in their daily lives--even in the tough times--and others can't seem to find it no matter how hard they search? Is a joy-filled life really possible? In this inspiring book, Kay Warren teaches what joy really is, where to find it, and how to choose it in the good times and the bad.

Meets every Monday, year-round, 1:00-2:00 pm in the library. Drop in anytime. No charge for book.



Wednesday Nights:

Come for dinner at 5:00 pm, followed by Pastor’s Bible Study, Fast Track Disciple II, Disciple IV or Epic of Eden.  Programs for Youth and Children are offered and nursery is available for children 4 years old & younger.

Pastor’s Bible Study
Jeremiah: A study of exile and homecoming. This drop-in study is facilitated by Dr. Ed Glaize and does not require outside study. Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall right after supper. No cost and registration is not necessary. 

Epic of Eden
This is a 12-week study from Old Testament scholar, Dr. Sandra Richter. Through text and video teaching, Dr. Richter brings a new dimension to the history of the ancient Near East, orienting participants in time, geography, culture, redemption, and relevance for today. Past participants say this is the best Old Testament study they have ever taken!! Facilitated by John Hodgkins. Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm. Orientation September 5th @ 6:30 pm. Cost of materials: $21


Parenting Discussion Group
Drop in for one or all of these roundtable discussions on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays this fall about the joys and CHALLENGES of parenting children of all ages.
Facilitated by licensed therapist, Robyn Koser.  September 12th & 26th, October 10th & 24thNovember 14th, 6:15-7:15 pm.
