What To Expect

Getting Here

We're in the heart of Fairhope at 155 S. Section Street. You can enter our parking lot from both Section St and Morphy Avenue. If you see the bell tower—you're here!

We have three worship services on Sunday mornings and recommend arriving 10 minutes early (15 if you need to check in a child to our nursery) so you can find a seat and get settled before the service begins:

  • Traditional: 8:30 am and 11:00 am
  • The Gathering: 11:00 am

The main entrance to our traditional worship service faces Section St.

The Gathering (our contemporary service) meets in our Christian Life Center, on the opposite side of our parking lot from the Sanctuary.

Vibes

Whether it's your first Sunday or your fiftieth, you'll find a warm, come-as-you-are atmosphere. There is no dress code and you will probably see people in everything from shorts to suits.

Our traditional services use the United Methodist Hymnal and congregational responses; the preacher and choir will be in robes but the tone in these services is not especially formal.

The Gathering makes extensive use of modern lighting, audio, and video to create an immersive, contemporary atmosphere.

Kids

All children are welcome in all our worship services, but our 11am worship services offer specially-designed actvities for kids who prefer a different experience.

Infants-Pre-K children enjoy the nursery on the first floor of our education building (pictured above). The entrance to the nursery is a covered drive-through, so you can drop them off even before you park!

Kindergarten-6th Grade kids begin in worship, and then are escorted by trained and background-checked volunteers to our Children's Church. You can pick them up at the same drive-through entrance we use for the nursery.
