Jennifer has served on staff as the Director of Missions and Outreach, including Disaster Response since 2014. Church Life Ministries was added to her responsibilities in 2016. She received her degree in History from the University of South Alabama. Jennifer is a 3rd generation member of Fairhope United Methodist Church. Her grandfather, Dr. William E. Calhoun served here as Senior Pastor in the late 1970’s. Over the years, she has served in the local community and domestically. She has also served in Ghana and has served alongside two ministries in Costa Rica for over 14 years. Jennifer is passionate about serving in areas of disaster response, the local community and building relationships with community outreach organizations. She has enjoyed serving as a volunteer with the youth ministry for many years and teaching children’s Sunday School. Jennifer also serves as the Missions co-chair for the Baypines District Core Team and on the Alabama West Florida Conference Board of Global Ministries. Jennifer and her husband Evan, were both raised in Fairhope UMC, participating in children, youth and mission activities during their upbringing and now they are doing the same with their four daughters, Carson, Harper, Reece and Sage. Jennifer has a love for all things missions, Blue Lake and coffee!
